Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to BetterWebz websites, including betterwebz.com and portal.betterwebz.com, and to information handled while providing Google Ads management, landing-page, lead-tracking, reporting, and related services.

When BetterWebz builds or operates a landing page for a client, BetterWebz may process lead information on that client’s behalf. The client’s own privacy notice and business practices may also apply.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact and inquiry information, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, service area, and message.
• Client onboarding information, including business details, advertising goals, services, offers, budgets, assets, and account identifiers.
• Portal account information, such as your email address and account-security events. Password authentication is handled by our authentication provider; BetterWebz does not receive your plain-text password.
• Lead information submitted through a client landing page, which may include a name, contact details, requested service, and message.

Google Ads information

When an authorized Google account connects to the BetterWebz portal, we may access the Google Ads customer ID, account settings, campaigns, ads, keywords, landing-page URLs, change history, and performance information needed to provide campaign management and reporting. Authorization credentials are stored securely and are not placed in public website code.

Calls, forms, and conversion information

For clients using call or form tracking, we may process call metadata, form submissions, source information, and conversion outcomes. Calls may be recorded only when that feature is enabled and the required notice or consent is provided. The applicable landing page or telephone message may provide additional notice.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe or another identified payment provider. BetterWebz may receive billing contact information, transaction status, and limited payment details, but does not store complete payment-card numbers.

Technical and security information

We and our service providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, timestamps, referring pages, essential cookies, session information, logs, and security signals. The client portal uses hCaptcha to help prevent fraud and automated abuse.

3. How we use information

BetterWebz uses information to:

• Respond to inquiries and communicate with clients;
• Set up, operate, measure, secure, and improve advertising campaigns, landing pages, tracking, and the client portal;
• Provide reports, document account activity, troubleshoot issues, and support client requests;
• Process payments and maintain business and tax records;
• Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security incidents; and
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5. When we share information

We may share information with the client that received the inquiry; with Google, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, hCaptcha, call-tracking providers, email providers, and other vendors that help us deliver the service; when you direct or authorize us to share it; in connection with a business transfer; or when required to protect rights, safety, security, or comply with law.

Service providers may process information only for the functions they perform for BetterWebz or its clients. BetterWebz does not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The BetterWebz portal uses essential browser storage and authentication technologies to keep users signed in and protect accounts. Client landing pages may also use measurement or call-tracking technologies described in their applicable notice. We do not knowingly place unrelated behavioral-advertising trackers in the private client portal.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the client relationship.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted connections, restricted database permissions, and protected server-side credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that BetterWebz controls, or withdraw a Google authorization, by emailing betterwebzco@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when legally required or needed for legitimate business records.

If your information was submitted to one of our clients through that client’s landing page, contact that business directly as well. BetterWebz will assist the client with an appropriate request when we act as its service provider.

9. Children’s privacy

BetterWebz services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, portal, or direct notice when appropriate.
